When you see that your baby is asking for more milk by wanting to feed more frequently I’d drink another cup of water. Since your baby is asking your body to produce more milk.
How much water to start with. This depends on your height, weight, and how much you sweat. Starting at 8 glasses and work your way up or down if your eating a diet with broths and soups you may not need to drink so much water since your getting fluids in already.

A side note
I personally could not sleep with my hands stretched out above my shoulders. Is seemed that every time I would I woke up with clogged ducts which if you think about it makes sense. Think of it like a sling shot band as you stretch it the round tube like band become narrow so the milk can’t easily pass through the ducts. This for me caused blockage. So I made sure and slept with my hands down.
When I had the clogged ducts a few times I would move my arm into defferent positions to get the milk to release. So I would raise my hand and try to express and massage then I would extend my arm on the side again massage and express and then with my arm resting downward massage and express.
