Baby Poem- Silence: Chronicles of a New Mother

Silence

such peace

such easy

so simple

sound

learning

in nature peace

so complex

this ying

that yang

could ying be yang

and yang be ying

silence was here

and the learning is a starting

babble blah blah ha ha

silence no more from here

a delight

mommy forever mommy am I

why

well

silence

if learning is prime

and silence is strict

there must then be

Be so complex

what to do

how to say

could then in time the yes be no then

and the no be yes

with silence

baby does this and baby does that

silence

baby plays with this here oh it does this that there

it's perfectly okay

to jump on this and write on that

because there is silence

simply complex

does this naïve mother need time to see that depends are at stake

will silence scream

or will sound be at peace

will sound then be peace

yes use this oh

what is that

two steps forward maybe a few back

in turn silence

ohh yes so simple so complex

with a ying or a yang
