Wean-Chronicles of a New Mother

Okay its time to see,

how can we make sure and make this sweet,

a substance white,

we can't just stop,

I know,

but mommy is drained ready to go,

you enjoy so much the time,

drinking over and over,

but at times its a little too much,

nothing left to give,

and the cry,

mommy understands,

I'll be sweet,

I'll still hug and kiss you all the time you need,

Now instead of the feed let me give you a snack,

It'll fill your tummy nicely infact,

You will get some from time to time I swear

but not for hours and hours,

That needs to end,

Mommy is tired.

I still love you my child.

Were learning and growing together!

ill be patient,

You'll be okay moms with you every step of the way,
