Surprise oh Gasp: Chronicles of a New Mother

Gasp!

It's morning,

mother lets go!

It's time to discover!

Gasp she picks me up!

Aw she sets me down.

No mother let's go!

Gasp,

I stretch,

new dipper oh yes a new.

Gasp I'm suddenly picked up yes YES!!

Gasp the bedroom door opens,

at last,

Gasp!

oh wow mama,

wow,

jumping I am.

A new world I see,

I'm using my new skill I gasp you see!

Gasp who do I see,

Gam it's Gam oh Gasp! Gasp!

She runs behind mama and follows me,

GASP!

GAASP!

She's a coming for me!

Gasp who do I see,

Dad it's Daddy oh Gasp! Gasp!

He opens the door and surprises him me,

GASP!

GAASP!

He's a coming for me!

And after the gasp comes the long yawn,

It's time for bed,

another surprise I pray for to see in the morn.
